The Transaction Screen is a multi-faceted questionnaire completed during an interview with the current property owner or occupants. It contains pertinent questions to help ascertain whether there are issues of concern and to provide an "Innocent Landowner" defense to the purchaser. We use our training and experience in evaluating the Transaction Screen, keying on questionable responses, and may recommend an in-depth Phase I Environmental Site Assessment for the client’s protection.
